CEAC ‘s Commitment

The residents of Hill Run, located in St. Catherine, Jamaica, will see more greenery as CEAC Solutions, with the generous donation of the Department of Forestry, undertook the planting of 50 trees in the community.

Though only 10km from the parish’s capital- Spanish Town, the quiet residential and farming community is unknown to many. The suggestion of planting trees was a breath of fresh air to the residents, to enhance the landscape with several coastal species.

With the help of some excited residents, over 50 Seaside Mahoe and Santa Maria Plants were planted during July 2022. These trees, with care and protection, will grow between 20 and 40 feet in height, and will not only provide well needed shade in the sunny community, but will also enhance the landscape with vibrant colours and combat climate change.

This is not the only climate mitigation project to be undertaken, as the Engineers of CEAC Solutions have committed to continue contributing to Hill Run in various ways based on the need of the community.

If you’re ever in the area, take a small stop and plant a tree- nature will thank you.
