White Water Meadows Flood Control and Water Supply

Projects » White Water Meadows Flood Control and Water Supply

PROJECT DETAILS

White Water Meadows is a housing development located in St. Catherine. Homeowners and the land developers had fears of the flood impacts of new road and flood control works. CEAC conducted pre and post development hydraulic modelling and made recommendations for openings. CEAC was also required to investigate and re-engineer an existing well, which was used for the provision of water to several sub-divisions.  A 10” force main, 8 kilometres long, and reservoir were designed and constructed with air valves, pressure reducing valves and other fittings.
