Aerial survey techniques are becoming common place in the engineering industry. They allow for the rapid collection of very detailed images and survey data. Whilst the regulatory environment may be restrictive in some instance it allows for orderly and safe conduct of these surveys. A comparative analysis reveal that aerial surveys are ten times faster and cost ten times less.
