PROJECT DETAILS

The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) intends to provide basic road, drainage and water supply infrastructure for the Salt Spring Community. The Salt Spring Community is situated in the Parish of St. James, with an estimated population of 7,025 persons and 2,007 homes. JSIF seeks to rehabilitate approximately 2.9 km of roadway that has deteriorated over time due to poor drainage, lack of upkeep and general neglect.

CEAC provided project management, feasibility study on potable water and sewerage, stakeholder consultations, detailed road and drainage designs (swales and open channel drains, drainage pipelines), construction supervision.
