Rehabilitation and enhancement of the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant, which services the Unions Estate Development in Central Village, St. Catherine was necessary to solve the issues plaguing the plant. The works included the construction of treatment tanks, installation of sludge distribution pipelines with the associated appendages, installation of electrical infrastructure and construction of a roadway for the treatment plant. The plant is now fully functional and the public health and environment of the community are again protected.
